Our Methodology
Through our five-step, common sense approach to building local and wide area networks (LANs and WANs), Solution 360 gets you up and running quickly and efficiently. From the basic communications infrastructure to your working desktop, we don't just install networks—we integrate them.
And we don't stop there. We also offer a variety of IT Support plans and 360 totalCARE (Managed Services) to keep your network running smoothly. This way, the same people that built your network can also maintain it, saving you time and money.
STEP 1: What's going on inside?
We start by testing your physical network wiring and infrastructure, making sure it can withstand your company's daily network usage and traffic. From data cabling and hubs to wireless access points, switches and routers, we use only the highest-quality network components from leading vendors to build your IT infrastructure. Through our partnership with Cisco Systems, Solution 360 can also design, implement and support an all-Cisco network infrastructure through our Solution 360 Professional Services.
STEP 2: How can we serve you?
Starting with a server hardware platform from a leading supplier such as Dell, IBM or Hewlett Packard, we assemble all the necessary hardware and software to form the basis of your LAN or WAN. Of course, each component is tested and re-tested to ensure proper configuration and superior performance. Solution 360 can also recommend network backup and power protection products and systems.
STEP 3: The power you need to succeed
At this stage, we recommend and install key business applications to give your organization the horsepower it needs to succeed. Sample applications include:
- File and Print Server Services
- Email and collaboration software
- Network Security and Anti-Virus
- Network Fax
- Accounting System
- Database Application
- Remote Access Software
- Network Backup
STEP 4: Your workstations
We review your desktop workstations and recommend upgrades or replacements when necessary. For added flexibility and security, we also provide each employee with a "common desktop" that integrates all your business applications, such as Microsoft Office, e-mail, anti-virus protection and user login profiles. We'll make sure that all your non-PC (e.g. Mac) workstations support this new system as well.
STEP 5: Plan on Network Support
Finally, we provide training and ongoing technical support to keep your network running smoothly.
